Welcome to Fast Staff's
Candidate Requirements page.
As a nursing recruiting agency, we are committed to finding the most qualified candidates to meet the staffing needs of healthcare facilities across the United States. To be considered for nursing positions through our agency, candidates must meet certain requirements.
Education and Licensing

To work as a nurse in the United States, candidates must have a valid nursing license. Candidates who are licensed to practice nursing in their home country must pass the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX) in order to obtain a nursing license in the United States. In addition to a nursing license, candidates must have a minimum of an Associate’s degree in nursing (ADN), although many employers prefer candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN).

Work Experience

Candidates who have prior work experience as a nurse are preferred by many healthcare facilities. While the amount of experience required can vary by employer and position, candidates should have at least one year of experience in a nursing role. This can include experience in hospitals, clinics, long-term care facilities, or other healthcare settings.

Communication Skills

Effective communication is critical in nursing roles. Candidates should be able to communicate clearly and effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals. Candidates must be fluent in English, as it is the primary language used in healthcare settings in the United States.

Technical Skills

Nurses must be comfortable working with medical equipment, computer systems, and other technical tools. Candidates should be proficient in using electronic medical records (EMRs) and have experience with medical software and hardware.

Professionalism

Nurses are expected to maintain a high level of professionalism at all times. This includes being punctual, dressing appropriately, and maintaining a positive attitude. Candidates should have a strong work ethic, be reliable, and have a commitment to patient care.

At Fast Staff, we are committed to finding the most qualified candidates for nursing positions. If you meet these requirements and are interested in working as a nurse in the United States, we encourage you to submit your resume and apply for open positions through our agency. Our team of experienced recruiters can provide guidance and support throughout the hiring process.
